The recent school holiday, we had a blast at Gambang Water World. Not bad establishment. Looks really inviting from the lobby. The park is huge, but there are a few more renovation still going on. They will be completed by end of 2010. That'sgood news for those who love to slide and get wet!!!
The entrance fee is RM19.90 each adult and RM12.90 for children above 90cm height. Rental of tube is around RM5 to 10.00 depending on the size. What impress me most is the "CASHLESS PARK" theme.
What it means is that you top up some amount of money, eg RM 50.00 and they key in the amount onto your wrist band's barcode. So renting of Gazebos, Tubes even purchase of food is relatively easy and fast. All they do is they scan your wristband and deduct the amount from the barcode. Top ups can be done in the top-up counter in the park itself. It's quite convenient. Except when we were there, it was full of people. It was school holiday and end of the year holiday for most people.
Therefore, getting around the park and purchase of food might take a while with the long queue and all.
Above all, my son enjoyed it the most. We will definitely go back there after the monsoon season ends.
